The aim of the thesis "Payment systems and protocols - analysis, simulation, verification" is overview of payment systems in the Czech Republic, in EU, in USA and in Japan. The first part is concentrated on legislation, the second is dedicated to payment systems, the third is dedicated to payment protocols, their characteristics, used technology and security elements. Comparison of particular payment systems and of particular payment protocols is part of this work too. Thesis is also concentrated on security elements.
System for Integration of Payment Terminals

This master's thesis describes the process of integration of electronic payment terminals into another technological solutions and eventually enabling the opportunity to make electronic payments using these solutions. It analyses the current situation on the field of electronic payments and the possibilities of own solution for these payments. It discusses the security aspects of payment operations and terminals and it also describes current legal situation involving the electronic payments in Czech Republic. It describes the process of implementation of the application for payment terminal integration and analyses the results of testing.

The self-solution consists in the planning and the implementation of the pilot project by the alternative chanels of distribution use in the getting undergraduates as the bank clients.
Payment card systems

The work is about payment card systems. We’d like to describe infrastructure of credit cards, ATMs, POS terminals , focusing on the EMV standard. In theoretical part we will be introduced with the history and development of credit cards, ATMs and POS terminals. Then we focus on a detailed description of payments terminals and possibilities of payment via the Internet. The most extensive theoretical part deals width EMV standard. In practical part we will make our own program, which authenticates the user based on his credit card and it will allow the user to login in the system. Source codes of this application can be found on enclosed CD.
Financial Literacy at Kindergarten

This thesis focuses on financial literacy in pre-school education. The aim of this thesis is to create a series of activities, that correspond to the development of pre-school children. The proposed activities relate to financial literacy in a broader sense, than just financial mathematics. The objective is to verify eligibility of proposed activities, both from the author's perspective, as well as from the perspective of the teachers of kindergarten, in which the research was set. The creation of proposed activities is based on the theoretical foundations obtained in the theoretical part of this work. The objective of the proposed activities is to introduce children to the fundamentals of financial literacy, initiate first experience, fortify designed habits and acquaint children with elementary concepts. The verification method is based on qualitative research with elements of action research. Observation of pre-school children during the activities served as main data collection method. The activities were captured on video for later analysis and post-reflection. The obtained data allowed possible modifications of activities and conditions of their implementation, as well as further recommendations for teacher practice.
